Swansea caused an upset in the previous round by beating Luton Town at home. The Hatters were then riding high at the top of League One.
Conference side Aldershot were Wycombe’s opponents in the last round. Jonny Dixon scored the game’s only goal to prevent the tie needing a replay at Adams Park.
The Swans haven’t won away from home since they beat Wycombe in the league meeting between the two sides back in September. Their home form has been more impressive – not having lost at home since the opening day of the season. Kenny Jackett’s side currently sit in third place in League Two with a game in hand.
