The 19-year-old midfielder spent a season on the south coast, but decided on a move to Wycombe to play for Gary Smith’s youth team. Martin joined on non-contract terms during the close season.
"I am very pleased to sign and hope that it will lead to something more permanent. It has been a terrific experience for me ever since I joined the club," he said, after a deal with caretaker boss Keith Ryan was confirmed.
After impressing former manager Tony Adams, Martin started in all three of Wycombe’s first team games in all competitions at the start of November. Adams selected the youngster in the league for his final game in charge against Yeovil Town. Martin also featured as a substitute in the 1-0 win against Bristol Rovers at the weekend.
