"Coming back puts you in a different mindset and you're ready to try new things. Now I'm back here I just want to get in the team."
After ending a nine-game winless streak with a
1-0 victory over Torquay on Tuesday,
the Shots now lie 11 points off both the League Two play-off places and relegation zone.
"We're definitely hoping to go up the table and not down," added Straker.
"We're on a fresh start and we can kick on in that last straight at the end of the season.
"I think we'll be able to get a play-off spot."
