The Shakers secured promotion over the Easter weekend and could still win the npower League Two title.
But Waddock will be hoping to put a dent in those ambitions and he is encouraging his side to follow in their opponents' footsteps.
"Credit to them, they've gained promotion which is fantastic for them and we would like to achieve what they've just done," Waddock told Chairboys Player.
"There'll be a party atmosphere and they're looking for a result to try and win the title, so we're ready for what they'll throw at us.
"The game are getting bigger but we'll approach it in the same way and we know what we've got to do."
