Wycombe began their pre-season schedule with a 3-3 draw at home to Yeovil. League One side Yeovil got off to a flying start when Danny Hutchins gave them the lead after just four minutes. But Wanderers hit back emphatically to go into the break 3-1 ahead courtesy of a Jon-Paul Pittman double and a goal from Matt Phillips. Sam Williams and Lloyd Matthews struck in the second half for Yeovil to ensure the behind-closed-doors game ended all-square. "It was a good run out for the boys and I think it was useful for them to play together in a match situation," boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website. "They have been excellent in training and looked sharp in the game so I'm happy with the progress we are making."
