Draw specialists Wycombe recorded their 17th stalemate of the season as they came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Boston United.
The result at York Street was enough to ensure the Chairboys maintain their place in the promotion reckoning but did little to bolster Boston.
Following a slow start Wycombe had the first chance when, in the 16th minute, home keeper Michels Kuipers pulled off a good save when pushing aside a shot on the turn by Ian Stonebridge after Michael Williamson had headed down a Rob Lee free-kick.
Seven minutes later, at the other end, Boston top scorer Julian Joachim missed a great chance when set up by Lawrie Dudfield as he miscued with the goal at his mercy.
In reply two minutes later Tommy Mooney almost broke the deadlock, but saw a rising drive hit the home crossbar.
Wycombe continued to press, but might have made better use of two openings in quick succession. Instead, both Russell Martin and Mooney blazed aimlessly over from distance.
On the stroke of half time Boston almost conceded a bizarre goal when Kuipers let a bobbling shot from Sergio Raul Torres slip through his grasp - but looked back in relief as the ball hit the post.
Wycombe came close to scoring on 54 when Torres forced Kuipers into a fine sprawling save from 18 yards.
And that proved a pivotal moment as two minutes later Boston went ahead. Dudfield cut the ball back from the left and Joachim slotted home from 10 yards.
Boston pressed again and in the 67th minute as more good build up led to a shot from Jamie Clarke but it was blocked.
Back at the other end Kuipers made two more good interventions with catches from crosses. However he was unable to stop Kevin Betsy drilling high into net for a Wycombe equaliser after Dean Bowditch had delivered a low right-hand cross.
Boston almost grabbed a winner on 85 minutes when Austin McCann fired in a free kick from the right but Frank Talia clutched the ball amongst a forest of legs.
Right at the death Joachim flicked on for Dudfield only for Talia to produce an excellent save.
