Daggers leave Chairboys standing
Dagenham's impressive home form continued as they surged to a 2-0 victory against 10-man Wycombe.
The Daggers have still lost just once at home this season as a goal in each half saw off gutsy Wanderers.
Wayne Burnett's team led at half-time thanks to a smartly-taken goal from Afolabi Obafemi. The teenage striker latched onto a smart pass from Abu Ogogo before turning sweetly and firing a low shot into the corner of the net to register his third goal of the season.
Before the goal Rhys Murphy had gone close for the Daggers, but after Obafemi's strike the visitors enjoyed the better of the chances.
Anthony Stewart saw a header ruled out for offside while Stuart Lewis fizzed in a half-volley which flew narrowly wide.
The hosts doubled their lead from the penalty spot just two minutes into the second half. Stewart hauled down Murphy as he advanced towards goal and was promptly shown a red card. Murphy coolly slotted home the spot-kick.
Charles Dunne almost pulled a goal back for Wycombe late on when his header struck a post but in the end Dagenham were good value for a win which keeps them just outside the play-off places.
