Westley watches Wycombe win

Ten-man Preston came from behind to beat struggling Wycombe 3-2 in front of new Lilywhites boss Graham Westley.

Former Stevenage manager Westley watched on as Graham Alexander and David Unsworth took charge and he saw his new side fall behind to Marcello Trotta's 12-yard effort after eight minutes.

In-form Trotta, on loan from Fulham, forced a good save from Thorsten Stuckmann and then tucked away the rebound. Shortly afterwards, Stuart Beavon's header was ruled out for a foul.

It was a reprieve for Preston and debutant Bunn brought them level five minutes before the break, turning the ball in from close range following Barry Nicholson's inswinging corner.

Jake Jervis poked home after 58 minutes and Paul Parry gave the hosts a two-goal cushion from the penalty spot four minutes later after Anthony Stewart fouled Craig Morgan.

However, the Lilywhites were forced to hang on after Steven Smith was sent off in the 63rd minute for a second yellow card.

Trotta set up a tense finish when he converted Gareth Ainsworth's cross from six yards out with a minute remaining.
