Luke O'Nein effort enough as Wycombe edge StevenageLuke O'Nein's second-half goal maintained Wycombe's push for the play-offs while Stevenage remain fourth bottom of League Two after this 1-0 defeat. The hosts were intent on getting an early goal but Stevenage goalkeeper Jamie Jones denied O'Nein's rasping shot, Rowan Liburd's header and Garry Thompson's curling shot from 20 yards.Tom Conlon sent an effort from distance narrowly over the crossbar for the visitors and Wycombe's Jason McCarthy was unlucky not to hit the target with a shot from the right.Shortly after the interval, Michael Harriman fed a ball through the Stevenage defence for Liburd but the striker ran wide and his shot was saved by Jones.Liburd then should have done much better with two close-range headers between a Ben Kennedy dipping volley for the away side. The winner came after 70 minutes when McCarthy's saved shot rebounded out to O'Nien on the edge of the box and the former Watford youth tricked his way past two players and stabbed home.Ryan Allsop superbly tipped over Dean Parrett's shot from 10 yards to deny Boro a late equaliser
