Wycombe's unbeaten run ended by PlymouthFirst-half goals from Reuben Reid and Jake Jervis gave Plymouth a 2-1 win at Adams Park, helping their side leapfrog Wycombe into second place and ending the Chairboys' unbeaten league run.Reid pounced inside the opening few minutes before Jason Banton opened his Wycombe account shortly after. But Jervis' winner, his fourth this season, proved the difference and avenged Plymouth's play-off semi-final defeat to Wycombe in May.There was an early double dose of the curse of the ex-striker as former favourites came back to haunt their old clubs.First Reid, a former Wycombe loanee, tapped in at the far post on four minutes before Banton - who joined the Chairboys from Plymouth during the summer - blasted home from Aaron Pierre's knock-down.Luke O'Nien hit the post for the hosts before Plymouth were back in front in bizarre circumstances as the ball cannoned in off Jervis as Wycombe tried to clear their lines inside the six-yard-box.Matt Ingram then saved well from Reid's header before Gozie Ugwu missed a great chance to level before the break, firing straight at Luke McCormick from inside the area.Garry Thompson should have levelled after half-time, but his effort came back off the post after being allowed in by the dozing Curtis Nelson as Wycombe tried in vain to salvage a result
